Gears Of ar has only been hyped by its creators and its supporters. All the hype around it done by Epic and MS. Yes, Resistance is not as hyped, but it looks just as good, if not better.

What have I seen on the 360? The games you say that are great didnt get that great of reviews, Dead Rising is good, but very repetitive. The only game that looks cool is Test Drive. Other than that, NOTHING.
Resistance is Equally as good as Gears Of War, and its a First Gen Title, Gears of War is 360's First second Gen Title.

it made me NOT want to buy it. Anyways, who knows if they are going to or not. They also said they didnt have plans for an online service a long time ago, and we all know what happened, they DO. So if they decide to put in demo units, or not, its not a big deal. What I ahve seen so far from the 360, which has been out for about 9 months now, is nothing to make me want to buy it, because I havent seen anythign special. So PS3 for me.

is it worth getting? Hell yes it is. It is worth every single dollar. The games look sweet on it, all the games look pretty badass. It ahs a built in blu ray player, it had built in WiFi, titl controllers, free online, Cell + RSX, awesome physics, awesome graphics.
360 - 400 dollars, DVD player, no differnce in controller, good graphics, i havent seen ANYTHING yet, to define it as next gen. Just shinier cars, thats all. Is it worth 400, no way.

HD movies. The 360 is 400, + the HDDVD, lets dsay its for 150, thats 550.
Ps3 is still offering more, bigger Hardrive, a tilt sensing controller, Free Online play. The consumer will get all this information. Plus, they will go with a built in player, rather than getting a add on, people dont like add-ons.
Honestly, I just dont see any games I want for the 360. Although, i must admit, test drive looks like a awesome concept. But thats the only game I see, and dont want o spend my 400 bucks for that just one game. I can get all three consoles actually. But just because I can, doesnt mean I should. I am waiting for the PS3, I see their launch lineup is lookin pretty tight.
